About Me
I am a photographer who enjoys creating images of my environment. While I enjoy creating images that represent many different genres, I find landscape and wildlife to be the most rewarding.
My journey in photography started in 2000 with a simple disposable 35 mm camera and a desire to show family and friends the sights from a trip to New England. After a photo of a moose didn’t turn out as expected, I decided to upgrade to a film SLR and learn how to use it. I practiced by making images of my family and our life events over the next 8 years. In 2008, I made the switch to digital.
Since then, numerous books and videos have been studied to teach myself the technical aspects of the equipment and techniques used to create high quality images. In 2010, I joined the Susquehanna Valley Shutterbugs photography club in Williamsport, PA, where I have participated in numerous photo contests and held various leadership positions. In 2018, I joined another local photography club, the Lewisburg Photo Club, to continue to learn and teach the art form.
